Support
FreeFax is a small operation, but we read every email. Here’s how to get help:
Common questions
My fax didn’t go through.
Fax is fussy. If we confirmed the failure in the app, your credit was refunded automatically. If you want us to look into it, email the destination number and approximate time of the attempt.
I bought credits but don’t see them.
Pull down to refresh the home screen, or restart the app. Purchases are verified server-side and can take 10 seconds. If after a minute you still don’t see them, email us with your Apple receipt email (the one your App Store account is on) so we can look it up.
I want a refund.
Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple, not by us. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, find FreeFax, and request a refund.
How do I delete my account?
If you signed in with Apple, open the three-dot menu at the top right of the home screen and tap “delete my account.” This wipes your account, credits, and fax history from our servers within 30 days.
If you never signed in (the default — FreeFax operates anonymously by default), there is no account in the traditional sense; we only hold an opaque device-bound identifier and your credit balance + fax history. Uninstalling the app on your device removes your local fax history immediately. To request that we also remove the server-side record, email us at joelsfoster+freefax@gmail.com from any address — explain that you’re an anonymous FreeFax user, give us a rough timeframe for when you used the app, and we’ll delete the matching record within 30 days.
Can I send international faxes?
Not yet. FreeFax supports USA and Canadian destinations only — any standard 10-digit North American number works.
